Andrea Rodriguez Blandon

Andrea Jose Rodriguez was born on March 19, 1990 in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Graduated as Bachelor of International Science and Letters in 2008,currently in the final year of Business Administration at the International School University. I started my first job in 2008 at Fundación Guatemala as a Spanish / English translator and as the coordinator of their Documentation Center for Women. I´m supporting in  facilitating  as part time and consultant  the Community Practitioners Platform for Resilience -CPPR- in the country, also as technical assistance for designing proposals to advocate with some local institutions as some Municipalities in the country.  I also have been involved with some efforts related to Community Resilience to Disaster Risk Reduction and Adaptation to Climate Change. I have been working in the design of the community hazard mapping process with several organisations of Foundation Guatemala. so I´m really looking forward to participating in the Global Gender and Climate Alliance (GGCA) Innovation Forum:  Alliance Building, Advocacy and Action on Gender and Climate Change in Marrakech, Morocco from November 12-13th.
