Grace Nakanwagi is a project and administrative assistant at Environmental Management for Livelihood Improvement Bwaise Facility (EMLI), a Global Green Grants Fund grantee. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Makerere University and has over 4 years work experience in project management. Grace also serves as a teaching assistant in Economics at Muteesa II High School. Grace devotes part of her time to gender and climate change interactions through her membership to the Climate Change Learning Alliance, a platform facilitated by Climate Change Department in collaboration with International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and EMLI. Grace is an active member of the policy awareness working group of the Climate Change Learning Alliance, a multi-stakeholder platform for policy makers, researchers, and development practitioners to influence climate resilient, gender responsive and effective policy formulation and implementation on climate change adaptation and food security. She has contributed to the development of a policy brief on gender and climate change interactions in Uganda.
